Participation in the RCR program:

I decided to participate in the Jordan RCR Program because I have long been intrigued by research and publication ethics related issues, such as, how can publication of false and biased studies be prevented? And who should protect the integrity of published research? In addition, as a clinician and academic with a background in law, I seized this lifetime opportunity to further my understanding of patients’ rights, informed consent, ethical clinical research and patient-physician relationship.

My Research Ethics Related Interests:

 My interests include research misconduct, patients’ rights in clinical trials and the validity of the biomedical and dental literature.
