Dena Plemmons, Ph.D., Director, Research Ethics Education Program, Associate Professor, Graduate Division University of California, Riverside; faculty affiliate with the Research Ethics Program, University of California, San Diego.
Plemmons is an anthropologist by training, but in the last decade has focused her intellectual curiosity and research agenda in the area of research integrity, broadly defined. She has taught research ethics across the spectrum, from undergraduates to physicians and faculty, and across disciplines. She has consistently been funded, as PI and co-PI through both NIH and NSF, for her research, which includes curriculum development in research ethics, and investigations into both common and best practices in areas of science and research, both nationally and internationally. Plemmons is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
