About

Led by the University of California San Diego (UCSD) in collaboration with the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), this one-year initiative is structured around acquiring 16 units. These units are earned through a blend of educational formats: a one-week intensive face-to-face course in Jordan, three online courses each spanning 10 weeks, and a summer practicum.

Upon completion of the 16 units, participants earn the prestigious University of California San Diego Fellow Graduate Certificate in Research Ethics, offered at no cost to selected candidates. It is anticipated that approximately 30 graduates will emerge from the program annually. Moreover, funding assistance is provided to support the practicum and other associated research endeavors.

Program Overview

This comprehensive program spans 12 months and consists of graduate-level coursework alongside a practicum component. It boasts a team of 32 faculty members, including four prominent instructors and four advisory experts from the United States. Their collective aim is to cultivate the next cohort of researchers adept at conducting high-quality, ethically sound research.
